The 2010 edition of Swedish Game Awards is over. We would like to thank all the talented people who participated in this years competition. The winners were announced at the Grande Finale on the 12th of June and are presented below:
Winner, Game of the Year:

Motivation:
Charming graphics, well thought out and fun. An overall solution that really works with an excellent tutorial that introduces a fun, tactic and strategic gameplay.
Winner, Best Execution:

Motivation: Simple and easy to get into. With a moderate increase in difficulty level you and a friend tackle the games challenges by solving puzzles and strategically using ammunition where it is the most needed. It is all topped off with a comwboy hat and brutal music.
Winner, Best Innovation:

Chalmers University of Technology
Motivation:
The developers have succeeded in taking a very familiar game and transforming it into a new fresh multiplayer game, played on a unique plattform with occasional violent elements where "house rules" is an important component.
Winner, Serious Game:

Motivation:
It is not necessarily chosen for having an innovative gameplay or for breaking new boundaries, but because the seemingly obscure mix of two established worlds manages to reach the overarching goal of making room for discussion and debate.

Motivation: A fun, stylistically pure and clever game that makes me want to complete just one more level!
Winner, Mobile Game:
Phoenix Spirit
Stockholm University
Motivation:
With a compelling story about an odd world filled with dangers, the game takes use of the Iphones accelerometer in order to guide the player to a cure for natures poisons.
