Forum is up

Since we wanted a forum that is fully integrated with the rest of the site, it has taken some time to develop – but here it is. Even though only basic features are available right now, rest assured there is a lot of stuff right around the corner… Feel free to give feedback on troubles you’re having using the forum or feature requests, preferably in this thread.

Yeah, concerning communication, we do not want to have a messaging system on the site (there’s already Facebook and email for that). However, we do want people to hook up to work on entries using the site, so my idea is to have some kind of system for exchanging email addresses. For example, if a user A allows it, another user B can request to get A’s email address through the site. User A will then receive an email with contact information for B, and can choose whether to reply or not. Any thoughts on that?

May i suggest the next thing to fix is to get rid of those darned ugly arrows ?? yuck!! :)

Glad to see a forum around here. Will we be able to speak Swedish in some forums? Or not?

Speaking Swedish is fine whenever a topic is in Swedish. However, a topic should be in one language only.

At last! :), i hope people use it frequently.

Albin: It will be used, but right now it is in a beta stage so no real advertising has been made yet and there is not much motivation for the “mass-appeal-user” to post anything at the moment imo :-) Though we are going to change that.

Lets start by removing those ugly arrows… eoooowwww…. :)

The arrows are just ASCII characters, feel free to create .png images to replace them…

Are you perhaps mistaking this for a gaming competition? I would guess so by your post.
If that is the case: This is a game development contenst.
In case it isn’t: The competition has already begun, the 24th may is the deadline.
