About the sound btw, I noticed that you're using fmod.
Are you updating the sound system?
Ex: FMOD_System_Update(FMOD_SYSTEM *);

If you don't, the sympthoms will be identical to what is happening in your application. At least on my computer, and others.

At first i was confused about the depth, but then i realized it's arcade simulation ;), very cool.

The only entry that gives me the feeling that I'm not playing on a pc. (good thing)

Only downside is that the sound got silent after a few seconds.

The game style looks like the vector-games from the 80:s, but you didn't go all the way - why didn't you use vector-graphics? I would give it all fives then.
